Furry Clock

Has anybody else had experiences where their mind will come up with a concept/theory way above the standard intelligence level.

Maybe I'm just a nerd(mathematical/scientific iq= 187) but in the past week I have found it likely that time and gravity are their own dimensions, which is an unheard of concept, even for me. I may write a book about it. Anybody else have ideas way above their normal thinking level?

If anybody calls them brain blasts, they will burst into flames.

Maybe because it may be disproven? I don't know.

I tend to lean toward my own theory that time is constant, and therefor does not exist except as a measurement.

The observance and measurement of time is NOT constant, thus giving us the appearance of an inconstant temporal dimension.

Gravity does NOT affect time (and is not even connected to time, since time does not exist), but instead affects the speed of the rotation of the components within atoms and the speed of matter and energy waves, thereby altering the outcome of our measurement and perception of time.

I may be wrong, but I have always believed this, and have seen no credible evidence to support otherwise. In fact I tend to believe that if gravity did affect time, then the universe would not exist. At some point in the trillions of years in the future the universe would create a black hole so massive that time would stop in the center, and start rolling backward, causing the universe to instantly multiply all matter within it to the nth degree till it becomes an infinite body of mass that exponentially explodes outwardly at speeds greater than the speed of light/gravity, cascading in both directions along the time-line, thus preventing the possibility of humanity ever existing.

I've had that happen. Can't remember what I thought, but I think it was a pretty daring dimensiona-concept that had something to do with perception.

Blue

also... it's called an epiphany, and you didn't have one.

Couldn't you guys have shut up until after he wrote the book?

You see there is only one constant. One universal. It is the only real truth. Causality. Action, reaction. Cause and effect.

I had a epiphany once but the doctor cleaned it right up.

This thread make my brain hurt.

Yeah, I heard you shouldn't do that drug since it's bad for your heart.

On topic, I've come up with what I'm sure is the first AC Marx generator, and I was making up games as early as the sixth grade that I later learned to be exercises in Ramsey theory. I'm generally wary of new ideas concerning time, space, and gravity simply because there's so much smart guy fodder in the subject that anything new can either be attributed to somone else or debunked with a little research.

If what you have is really something special though, write it up. Just make sure it's new beforehand.

By the way there is no mathematical or scientific part of an IQ test. The terminology of each part that is scored is much more broad than that so I call bullshit.

Loki Clock

Time is considered by popular science to be it's own dimension. The first temporal dimension. Gravity may be a physical force bled in from another superstring, which is to explain why it's not as strong as the other forces.

That's an entirely sound theory, in my opinion. Unless black holes can actually react in a way that causes them to dissolve and disperse once they reach a certain mass. There are some things which can escape black holes, maybe it will be forced to convert the mass that has gone back in time to something that can escape and emit everything it can't hold?

Plus, you can't judge someone's potential intelligence (and what the fuck does that mean, anyway, that there's an actual limit on the knowledge you can gain, and that the makers of the test have found a way to measure it?) based on their familiarity with certain fields considered part of standard education.

That is not a universal truth either, so shove it mister I think I know stuff!

Heliopios

I don't have deep, intellectual thoughts anymore.

I think I'm partly  I'm a edgy teen.

How about energy (assuming gravity is an energy) alters time! Things that are going faster than X speed would be in a slower time continuum than that of in speed X!
Therefore mass/energy=time speed!

Potential intelligence is pretty simple. The capacity of knowledge you are able to gain X the speed in which it takes you to absorb it. The IQ test is based on measuring learning curves much rather than measuring general knowledge.
