I passed my friggin driver's test yesterday. It was my SEVENTH fucking test. I am so glad that crap is over and I can now mow down old ladies in peace.

Yeah I just passed my 2nd test not to long ago. Now I can work earlier, what a reward! I wish I never told them I could open. I should not be waking up before noon during the summer!

Ya but in this country you can't start learning until you're 17 and have passed a theory test.

And when I started learning the system was completely over full and backed up. My first 2 practical tests took a year each from application to test. The next 2 were 6 months each. And the last 3 were 3 months each.

Also the tests here are really strict on little things.

Also the system changed about a month ago, before that you could drive on your own pretty normally for your second 2 years on a learner's license.

Haha, seriously? In this country, when you turn 16 you go take a paper test to get a learner's permit, which means you can drive with a licensed adult in the car. From there you need to either take a Driver education course or take an entire Saturday to drive with an instructor. This is like a pre-test. Then you get a card which you can take to a road test to get your license.

If you were in an extreme hurry you could probably have a license within a month of turning 16 over here.
