OK, so I'm playing Pokémon Pearl and am trying to utilize the Pokédex's foreign language feature, but it doesn't seem to be working.  I've already got the German Magikarp the guy east of the Survival Area gives you in exchange for a Finneon, and its entry shows up just fine, but I have a Japanese Drifblim, a French Dewgong and a few others that don't seem to work.  Any solutions?

It doesn't apply to all pokemon. Only certain ones. look up a list.
if there were two guys on the moon and one of them killed the other with a rock that'd be pretty fucked up wouldn't it?
