so basically ive tried getting feedback for this but im just running around in circles apparently because the people i keep asking cant make up their fucking minds

the effects etc are irrelevant right now im just trying to finalize the design

here are uh various stages it has been through so far
i have all of them saved and its easy to jump back and forth and edit stuff

some changes are more subtle than othersss ok
i added the sloped bottoms to define the bottom line, thats why only the bottom of the letters are sloped (and not the T because it extends beyond the bottom line)

Could I see #2 with a big S? I am not fond of the N with the sharp edge because it seems wrong perspective wise, eventhough it can't be wrong since you decide how it bends uhhhhhh but my brain thinks it's wrong so I don't like it

The S is already bigger than the other letters (or taller, anyway), and I'd rather not scale it up because of the way I've drawn this with the line tool.
As for the sharp part of the last N it has already been changed; the logo at the bottom is the current version, based on feedback I've gotten elsewhere.

But yeah, like uhhh, what is important now is the actual design and not the coloring, I've just messed around with it to see what looks good and what doesn't. This thing is easy to edit, I just want input on how the design works.

The perspective in the lower ones looks broken (especially since the T is different from the other letters). I think the 3d effect from the upper ones worked better.

My fav is the 2nd one (and 1st, if it wasn't so blurry), followed by the 7th, for his reflection and glow effect (though the perspective of the T and N looks off).

the entire point of the different angles is to define the bottom line, which the T extends beyond OK IT IS NOT MUCH HARDER THAN THAT

I do very much like the block idea, however I think it needs to be reduced, maybe like this. As for effects try and blur that shiny curveous gradient slightly.

Straight lines as in lines that are not curved.

The transition of the upper gradient in the current version is far too gradual to properly convey the illusion of reflectivity, probably exacerbated by the dodgy waved line.

I actually think the second one in your first post is the most attractive, but it's really generic. :I

Yes, you can't tell, that the first letter is an S, if you wouldn't know it.

personally i think the bottom S looks better, thoughts? i really want to keep it as a lightning bolt if it doesnt work with two pieces

like i've said before, the reflective effect is easy to do and NOT FINALIZED YET ok but i'll take tremclad and unknown's suggestions to heart

i still don't know exactly what greyclock is referring to since THE ENTIRE FUCKING THING IS CONSTRUCTED FROM STRAIGHT FUCKING LINES (apart from the gradient shit though that is obviously not what you were talking about) but ok i suspect that you want me to get rid of the sloped bottom but uh its kinda hard to tell
