Design the official CC Preloader!

Not sure if you know this, but it plays no matter when you click on the cogs, regardless of whether or not the whole thing is "loaded".

Basically the animation is completely irrelevant to loading percentage, even if it's supposed to be one piece every 10%.

Meh, it was a rush job done on CD morning.

So fix it, it's an awesome idea

"Not to sure if anyone thought of this, as I am to lazy to read this thread and to make a pre loader. Anyways heres the Idea a big Clock in the middle of the screen and it fills up with color as it loads, all the way around (clockwise of course) and then when it is done loading have the clock hands disappear and the original Obey logo comes out of the clock, but instead of obey it should say "PALY".

I used Roman's tutorial on custom preloaders to do this. Considering I am a noob at flash and action script, this is very basic, no flash or flair. I did this because I needed to learn really, so please be gentle when you blam me. You can find my entry in the file library labeled TexClockCCPreloaderAttempt2.fla.

Well thats about 15 times better than what I have but I did make it in flash, so lets scrap that idea.
Anyway, I like the idea of the preloader being like an intro to a movie such as paramount pictures and the like.

I have an idea if anybody wants to use it... My flash skills are really too scrapped from lack of practice to accomplish this right now.

As it loads, a Flower slowly unroots itself and grows, (the flower's vine grows with loading) and at the end, it kind of tilts downwards and grows out a strawberryclock.
