This film is a collection of animated stories by "six of the leading graphic artists of our time", and the critics are wetting themselves over it.

"A SOPHISTICAED SHOWCASE OF CONTEMPORARY ANIMATION. The best short, by Mr. Burns, is a science-fiction nightmare of erotic slavery, with elements of ALIEN and Kafka's METAMORPHOSIS."                                 Stephen Holden, New York Times

"Rich, inventive. Often gorgeous to look at, and clever. I don't imagine you'll want to miss this black-and-white feast."                                 James Van Maanen, Greencine Daily

"Rusty alleyways and vaporous ghosts painted by the masters of dread. Razor-sharp images that will slice your eye and nest there forever. Thrilling, disturbing and haunting. Bring the kids!"                                 Guillermo del Toro

My interest is piqued! Check out the trailer here.

Saw clips of this on a foreign language site, the bit with the old man and the dogs really stuck with me, along with the down the hallway shadowchase thing from the weird medical closet. Couldn't ever find it again because I couldn't remember the name.

Thanks.

Edit: I was surfing this site. It supports English now. Scroll right till you see the extracts, the pictures are pretty awesome too.

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

Those tentacle faced mantis things were pretty neat. I'll have to check this film out.

In New York it only is being shown in NYC (of COURSE it all over in Cali-fucking-fornia). Is there any way to find out if it might be shown in Toronto, Canada? I'd really like to see this on a screen that isn't my computer.
