played half of earthbound a few weeks ago and lost interest. just started mother 3 today and did the first chapter and it's really really great.

yeah, but the enemies in the sewer are extremely easy to gain experience from.

i just find it annoying how whenever you come to a boss fight you have to grind around for an hour or so

I have the fifth Sanctuary and am going into the cave guarded by the rabbits in Dalaam. How close am I to beating Earthbound?

there's 8 sanctuary locations in total, so not too far

the most i've ever got on anytone is a 2 hit combo =( I'm using an vba. apparently the use of emulators can make it harder to do, but I can't seem to get it at all, even when i put them to sleep and can hear their rhythm

the sound might lag a little but mainly it's just a matter of keeping up the rythm

it's not essential at all though, but a good way to bypass grinding if you dislike it.

The damage taken, I think, is not worth the mental strain to do it. Especially on average enemies.

Overall, i'd have to say that Earthbound was a lot more epic imo.

When it says "The End" you're meant to push buttons and stuff to see the real ending

Darkness with people though out the game talking to you, pretty shitty if you ask me.

Also, the last fight with Claus was hell boring.

Yeah, but it was still pretty sad, I actually kind of liked te talking at the end. It was better than Earthbounds ending.

"Hey, you're not dead, go look for the ending yourself BUT NO MONSTERS OR OTHER PARTY MEMBERS"
