Quote from: Deep Blue;1433280Unfortunately the old concept of "work if you want to eat" no longer applies because of the bleeding-heart liberal agenda that demonizes anyone who would say such a thing.

I agree with this so much. Blue you are the man good job.

Sombra

Yeah those god damn liberals, taking our fucking guns. I should be able to bump fire an assault rifle in my back yard if I please.

Patriot if they were all armed with guns it wouldn't have happened
what
what are you talking about sombra
The article about the actress being slain
not the actress
her mom and brother
Ohhh
Well it still holds
whats this gun talk
If everyone had CCWs there would be no killing spries
ok?
why are you telling me this
Because a legal gun carrier would just pull out a gun and kill the killer
I dont give a shit about guns
are you insinuating that because i am a republican i own guns and support gun ownership?
Yes
Or at least the latter
That is a stereotype and a negative cleavage
<~Clam> im right wing and i could care less about guns
and No I do not own a gun and gun control is near the bottom of the list of what I care about politically
^^
what do you think i live in the fucking woods or something hunting things all day
?
There are plenty of urban Republicans that own guns. All I'm saying is that anti gun control is one of the founding principles of the Republican party
not exactly

I just think that it's wrong that anyone should be entitled to my possessions by force
A gun is an equalizer, a way for the weak to stand up for themselves
If a person is willing to steal my possessions they should be willing to die trying

the wheel of morality turn turn turn tell us the lesson that we should learn

Like I said in IRC, this is just where we disagree, Caddy. I'm not going to lie down and take it in the ass when some piece of shit decides to rob my house, bring potential harm to myself and my family, and steal my possessions that I fucking worked for. If I catch a stranger stealing my shit in my house, I am going to shoot them. I don't care if this makes me "amoral" or not.

Topcatyo

Why kill them?  Why not shoot them in the knee or something so you incapacitate them without having a body to worry about?

Loki Clock

Like they say, don't point a gun unless you're willing to shoot. Keep that in mind. Are you really that cold-blooded, that you'd kill to prevent a theft? I personally would only aim a gun at someone who will positively try and harm me, not just someone who wants to take something material from me. That said, I care about my intellectual property enough that I would actually shoot someone if they tried to steal my notebooks, directly or indirectly. I admit that's a little unhinged.

you have to stop believing the McCain propaganda man, obama is a left winger, so what, I think that'll actually help america, I don't even think canada is left enough, we have lots of problems.
Capitalism works, this I will agree with, on all counts, but what capitalism does is abuse the weak and hold the strong above everyone else, it's not something that should appear in a civilized society.
Obama is actually a very honest politician, he's stood by his principles, and has been mostly honest throughout this campaign. McCain has changed what he's believed to appeal to the base, and, save for a couple freudian slips, has avoided revealing what he believes, because he knows it won't appeal to the base, and he's too right wing to appeal to the left. he's resorted to lying to the stupid so they'll follow him, when what he believes doesn't actually fit to their interests.
Some would call this strategy, I would say that if you can't appeal to the intelligentsia, you do not have the right to lead.

he's actually the most honest american politician I have ever seen; not a very big feat.

and I haven't seen him suddenly change his mind between the primaries and the main campaign.

Do your homework...

Obama has changed his mind on almost as many occasions as McCain, but McCain's career vastly exceeds the length of Obamas, thus Obama changes his mind far more frequently.

As for propaganda, you've got to be kidding me... Obama is spending millions every month on advertising. You cannot watch TV for more than 20 minutes without seeing him. Nobody seems to care that most of his campaign contributions are from other countries (oh, and he originally promised not to accept such contributions by the way).

And you think a 46 y/o Obama can lead? He would be the second youngest president in history I think, and arguably the least experienced.  McCain, would be the oldest, but only by about a year.

Calling McCain old or senile is like calling Obama young and childish.
