Tyranitar is currently the pokemon with the highest amount of standard Attack (i.e. Train a Charmander and a Larvitar at the same rate from the same level, and when they are both a Charizard and a Tyranitar, the Tyranitar will have the higher attack.), and since Earthquake is a beast move that is also Physical damage (and uses the Attack), I could almost definiately one shot you with it. Maybe not, since I forgot Tyranitar is Rock/Dark, and not Dark/Ground. I've also seem plenty of Exeggutors used by regular players, although shitty ass "I WNAT BESTEST POKAMAYN 4 ONLIEN PALY USE TYRANITR" don't use Exeggutor, because they are gay.

Also, Tyranitar doesn't need to be my first pokemon out. As long as I don't switch out mid-Solar Beam charge, I'm good. And I wouldn't be that silly.

Tyranitar has no hope of killing exeggutor in one move with a move that isn't the same type as him OR super effective. Even if it's critical it's still a long shot. You should be using a dark type attack or fire fang if you don't have one.

As for charging of solar beam, you're actually right that I would need to charge it. I forgot that Tyranitar has the ability that makes a sandstorm so that would cancel out my sunny day and make me recast it. You also couldn't change in mid charge by mistake because I never actually charge the move in a battle.

tl;dr - Tyranitar could kick Exeggutor's ass, but he is still pretty cool.

If you used Rock Slide on Articuno it would die. Plus, Sheer Cold only works on enemy pokemon of a lower level or equal, so it would have to be level 100. You'd also have to assume that it was faster than it's opponent.
