Partitions

Long story short I ran a shitty partition, partition froze for 2 hours I restarded now my computer [HAS NO OPERATING SYSTEM...] Can anyone simply tell me how to properly partition my computer, I was hoping to have vista 32 bit and 64 bit (for 3dmax.) Thanks guys I appreciate it!

i'm not quite sure how you can fuck up partitioning. just go into disk management and shrink a volume, do not give it a drive letter or anything else. leave it as completely blank space.
