Just got home with Graveworm - Diabolical Figures.



It's gonna be butt fuckin' sick!! I listened to some on the way home in the car and they did a cover of Sting's Message In A Bottle on it which was awesome.

Sorry but the best albums by graveworm are When Daylight's Gone and Scourge Of Malice, all else pales in comparison.

Ensiferum - From Afar.

Holy fucking shit. Awesomeness.

Boy i hope that you haven't listened to anything made by pre-Petri Ensiferum. The new album sounds like some fuckin new band trying to get in on the Folk Metal fad. Old Ensiferum was good, Ensiferum with Petri has turned into a joke.


Not to say Petri is bad (which he is, completely butchers all good old ensiferum songs live) but that ensiferum lost most of it's life when Jari left, who was the main songwriter as well as composer right after Markus brought him onboard because Jari was good at that, having been a solo band (With amazing songs) for years before he was in Ensiferum.

Ensiferum post-Jari had the rest of the founding members (Jukka something and his brother) leave to go do whatever, leaving Markus and the keyboard slut (who left after Victory Songs), so he brought the norther faggot on, and ever since norther faggot's been writing the songs.

And this is what you get, dime-a-dozen synth folk power metal.

If you want a good album, get infinite, its a twist between raw and well produced, and has alot of the good qualities of eminem and few of the obnoxious ones (i.e no over emotional songs and excessive weirdness). Be noted that when you first hear it, it wont really sound like an eminem album because its not meant to hit the top of the billboards.
