Poltergeist

Can we get an official preloader?

ALSO @ Roman:

Is it high contrast black and white? Because that's something I'd really like to be able to do, and I'd really appreciate it.

Is "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist" B?

Is Mirrormask considered B by the way?  I'm not planning on doing it, but I'm curious since it was made for only four million dollars.

NO.

I think a movie is only B if it seems cheap. MirrorMask seems anything but cheap. :p

Also, I call "Manos: The Hands of Fate"!

Dictionary.com describes a B movie as
Quotea low-budget movie made esp. to accompany a major feature film on a double bill.
So, while Mirrormask is an amazing movie, it was still made on the cheap, so it might still technically classify as a B movie.  Just a very, very good B movie.

As for the whole "accompany feature film" part, I'm not sure how many of the movies we're doing for this that have accompanied feature films, so that part seems moot to me.

I've never watched Mirrormask, but could it be considered an art film?
Keep in mind that I've never watched it.

Wikipedia says that a B-movie is "a low-budget commercial motion picture conceived neither as an arthouse film nor as pornography." I think Mirrormask could definitely be considered arthouse. It wasn't made to make a buck, like so many other B-movies, it was made because it would be cool.

Besides, it had a lot of merchandising and advertising behind it, like a Tokyopop tie-in, several companion books, PVC figures and other things. A B-Movie doesn't usually get the kind of attention.

There's a difference between an "economical" movie and a "cheap" movie. Primer is more of a good modern B-movie than Mirrormask.
