Things have been quiet since then, which would have been back in October, until she messaged me on snapchat this Thursday saying she misses me and she just doesnt know how to talk to me anymore.

yeh man I can understand how all that would still be affecting you, but I also think you're basically making the right call. This is a tough one because some of what you had to offer had value to her, and it sounds like she's missing that and is trying to recoup it, but she's gotta get on the same page you're on. In a (second choice) ideal world, she'd figure out that while it's valid to miss that stuff, if she cares about your well-being, she's gotta stop bugging you for stuff you can't deliver without exhausting yourself, even if you've been willing to do that for her sake.

The issue is that when you know someone is out there who you have everything in common with, with whom youve never had a serious disagreement, who manifests all of your physical desires, it becomes very difficult to settle for less. Realistically, my standards are set too high, I am coming on 25 years old and the pool to draw from becomes increasingly smaller,  but i have become very accustomed to being single (never having maintained a relationship for more than 6 months) and would sooner try and find someone who I feel I can be wholly happy with, than resign myself to something less.
