3D Realms new game, Bombshell, is out. I picked it up and played about 4 hours straight until i came onto this bug on the third form of a boss fight that practically made the game unplayable. I made a thread on the 3DR forums about it and decided to check out Duke4.net to see what the buzz was like

(should i get the modern, PS3 version, or a bundle of the 3 games collection? or should i just get 1 PC game with dukem just to learn the game/story/theme.)

Yeesh, that sucks. I think the only video game I've ever bought the night it came out was a World of Warcraft expansion. My crippling thriftiness pays off; waiting for Steam sales means I've at least heard a little about the game, first. Does 3D Realms usually make good games? I feel like I've heard of them, but I also feel like me having heard of a non-Nintendo/Sega/Sony video game company isn't a good thing

ok, so it has badass action, boobs, and guns, so its 2/3 things that i like.

Just posting to say: I am really excited for XCOM 2.

I grew up playing Terror from the Deep and was of course deeply traumatized. Ever since, I kept on playing the psuedo-sequels (UFO Afterlight, etc.), but they never came close, until Enemy Unknown came out. I've played that game like crazy, including the insane Long War mod, and everything I've seen points to XCOM 2 being another big step up.
