first of all mystery inc was the tenth reboot of scooby-doo. it's not as if it was profaning something what had naught to be profaned
but more to the point it's also easily one of the best

likewise transformers prime was easily one of the best transformers cartoons, brave & the bold was easily one of the best batman cartoons, and the current ninja turtles series is probably the best one ever
mystery inc was scooby doo for a post-buffy the vampire slayer, post-harvey birdman world, and it knew the game it was playing.

you might be saying that's not fair, since the old scooby was made before twin peaks and all that shit, and like yeah??? all the old hanna barbera cartoons leaned on then-contemporary references to celebrities that were a little dated in the 1970's, and outrageously dated in 1992 when they started airing them on Cartoon Network because Ted Turner could get the broadcasting rights on the cheap and correctly intuited that kids would take some cartoon, ANY cartoon, over almost anything else. it sucks that some villain sneaked irrelevant impressions of Jackie Gleason and Jerry Colonna into our childhoods back when there were three channels for children and one of them was pbs, but right the wrong by seeing it for what it is

Why was Mystery Incorporated so good wtf. What's New Scooby Doo and pretty much everything after Zombie Island was so boring and then suddenly this shit comes out and we have a second legitimately well thought out reboot. Really surprised me. Sucks it was cancelled.

fair enough.

i shall rephrase my earlier statement, and i shall say:

the scooby doo series of 2010, 'mystery incorporated', is OK. it has its flaws, it might be rough around the edges, but its OK.
i mean, i havent seen that episode where they made fun of scrappy doo, man, that was good and spot-on!
so yes, i guess that this reincarnation is pretty much OK, in general terms.

after seeing some more ''mystery inc'' (2010) episodes today(online), i can tell that its a funny reincarnation of scooby doo; but the only thing(s) that irks me off, is mostly:
1. the major changes in the main cast.
i mean shaggy and scooby (mostly) look the same as they always did (and thats good), but velma has changed from a homely geek into an attractive(?) geek with a much more aggressive personality(when it comes to hitting on shaggy) and some very new, different things going on in general.

2. the same major character changes have happened to daphne as well, which now looks like an anime-fied girl, with strange eyes, a larger head and a different design overall. her main theme as the ''pretty girl'' remains pretty much the same, tho.
also, fred had the most obvious change of all: instead of being the clever, ''charming good boy'' of the group, now he is reduced in being an unfunny meathead, with the mental capacity of a watermelon, which is quite unfair, if you ask me.
(also, his character design has changed alot as well: he has tiny eyes, a different face, and a chin that would put jay leno to shame.)

well, as you can see, the bad stuff in ''mystery inc'' are mostly the major visual changes, and some new elements that seem odd to me, story-wise. (such as velma's strange new behavior, or daphne's crazy militant sister, to name a few. (even tho that last one could be the perfect ground for some funny ''army jokes'' in the show).

tl;tr :
''mystery inc'' of 2010 is pretty good, and i forgive it for its any flaws, it seems to be an OK show, after all.
however, the visual changes are quite strange for someone like me who always liked the old scooby doo cartoons.

and i shall also add this:

the cartoon ''Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!'' of 2015 is awful. truly an abomination. ugh.

PS: i actually liked ''What's New Scooby Doo'', it was good.

PS2: i know that nostalgia can make us all see with rose-tinted glasses, but in my case, i tend to like good and funny cartoons, despite the fact that some of them might be a bit corny.
as you can see, i've stated that i wasnt crazy about the jetsons (never a big fan), but scooby doo, wacky races and ''catch that pidgeon'' (with dastardly and muttle again) were great cartoons, to name a few.

Damn. Looks pretty sweet. I've always wondered why no one had tried to make a really good WWI game. I'm sure there have been attempts, but I can't think of any that went on to become big. Not quite the tone I'd expect from a WWI game, but I guess a game about sleeping in mud and trading diseases with comrades wouldn't be all that exciting.
