Deadpool Mega Thread

Im making this thread in general because fuck you.

A while back it was announced that Deadpool might get his own solo game (see Gir's thread), well yesterday the rumors for a Deadpool stand alone movie have been confirmed (Aswell as a Wolverine sequel in Japan with the Silver Samurai.. wanna bet they add fan favorite Psylocke for no apparent reason?)

Deadpool is seriously becoming one of the biggest names in Marvel, his third comic series is selling great, so good infact that he's getting another solo series running along side the current one, Merc with a Mouth. He's also currently in the mini series Suicide Kings with the likes of Punisher and Daredevil.

Besides all this solo stuff he's also making more and more appearances in major story arcs, Cable and X-force's Messiah War for one. He's also going to play a major part in the coming MsMarvel/Moonstone story arc. And he's going to be a playable character in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Not to mention his involvement in the current major event Dark Reign.

Now i know there are several Deadpool fans here and how do you feel about this? Im excited he gets all this attention but im also afraid they might ruin the character. I was reading some old issues the other day (specially the last 5 issues of the first series, the Black Swan story arc that led to Agent X) and it's much edgier than the current stuff. It's almost like when you favorite underground band becomes popular and starts to make commercial crap. We'll have to wait and see i suppose, im still optimistic and love all the extra Deadpool stuff coming our way!

Seeying as you and me are the only one who give a damm, let's list some peeps we want to see in a Deadpool movie!

I want: Cable, Domino, Bob, Agent X, Sandi Brandenberg, Outlaw, Weasel, Taskmaster and Blind Al.
(although realisticly speaking Cable and Domino would just complicate things)

I can do without T-Ray to be honest.

you pretty much got em down, but if i could only pick 3 it would be taskmaster, weasel, and bob

agent x would confuse the hell out of people

mmmyeah.. i liked Reynolds as Wade Wilson, but post op Wilson is horrible. However there is an after credit scene where he's a bit better and he says "sshhhh"to the audience, breaking the 4th wall, so that was cool.
