One thing I've noticed is that near your disguise icon where it says disguised as: soilder or whatever, it also says: disguise weapon. And the disguise weapon is randomized.

It could've been a server mod I guess, does anyone else see this?

it's not randomized, you can change your disguise weapon by pressing b (last diguise) while holding the weapon number of choice
