After discussing it with Zombie Lincoln, Lotus and Leek, they all agreed that they would let me resume our 5PM Saturday meetings for artistic expression and merriment, with one new twist:

We're moving from the dicey IRC channel to a much more communicative, dynamic location: Skype! We'll be able to have witty, realtime banter with each other, log our exciting discoveries for the future, and it's generally more stable and available than the IRC channel.

If you're interested, you can add me to your Skype list by clicking the Skype icon down there under my avatar. If you don't have Skype, I highly recommend it. This new version of the Skype Academy will be at 5PM Universal Clock Time (Eastern), 2PM Pacific, and 10PM PirateClock time. Hope to hear you there!

I think IRC is a better idea for a few different reasons, but then I'm pretty obviously biased.

for people who don't want to listen to everyone banter, they can just turn down the conversation volume to zero, and use the IM feature.

A few minutes before I found this topic, I was thinking to myself, "Gee, wouldn't it be nice if there were more Clock Crew Academies?" What a wonderful coincidence! Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate because I have a dozen math assignments to complete, as well as something called a 'Graduation Transition Package.' In two weeks I will be done High School, so I will then have enough time to particapte in stuff like this.
