Oh, thought I'd say that I chose As I Lay Dying due to a few other people in the class doing the other books I mentioned, and I'm really fucking glad I did. The only other Faulkner I had read was A Rose for Emily, but seriously this is one of the best books I've ever read. Amazing.

I just had to read Heart of Darkness for my English course. It's a good book but don't read it just because of Apocalypse Now, it's completely different.
Like a rat squatting in a doll\'s house.
