Which book should I read for my English course?

To Kill A Mockingbird which is the best book book i've ever read, or Heart of Darkness since Apocalypse Now is based from it and thats a good movie

Of those, the only one I've actually read is Catcher in the Rye, and it was pretty good.

The only two on there I've read were To Kill a Mockingbird and Catcher in the Rye, but I didn't think either was that exceptional. I've seen the movie version of Grapes of  Wrath and liked it, so unless Steinbeck was an idiot it should be pretty good.
