i have a bunch of favourite scenes...

in chasing amy when they're at the club and joey lauren adams is singing the song and ben affleck thinks she's singing to him but then she steps of the stage and starts making out with the chick and him and jason lee are stunned then an alarm is going off and jason lee looks around and realizes he's in a dyke bar and starts clapping with the rest of the audience, priceless

the long shot in donnie darko that basically introduces you to all of the people at donnie's school, so awesome.

the birth scene in freddy got fingered when tom green is spinning the baby by the umbilical chord and the indian ladies are chanting and banging the drums and gettings sprayed with blood.

Seriously though there are tons of great movie scenes, naturally i can't think of any right now!  There's one that springs to my mind though, mostly because it was cut from the theatrical movie, which is a damn shame.
