New WoW Expansion and Other Blizzard Stuff

BlizzCon is now! Here's panel info from the newly announced expansion:

Two new playable races (Goblins and Wargen) along with lots of other neato stuff. It seems like what they're trying to do this time is polish up some of the older, dated parts of the game. Good move, if you ask me.

Oh boy. Tauren Paladins. Either way, I like what they're doing, and it explains why they did the performance benchmarks a while back. For them to do what they're promising, they're going to have to render the whole map in 3d, so anyone with lag in Dalaran is going to have to upgrade most likely to play. Like they aren't extending the level cap too far, I'm tired of starting up a character and being so far behind. Then again it's not like I stay on the game for more than 10 days at a time every 3 or so months.

The Goblins of  the Steamwheedle Cartel are the neutral ones that live in Gadgetzan, Booty Bay, Winterspring ext. they are of a different faction that the ones from the island in the great sea.

... and now i feel like a nerd.

That's in WoW.
In Warcraft /in general/, Goblins have always been neutral, and only helped the Hore because they paid for their services.

I also like how he is obviously inspired by the Monk from the Sierra-made Diablo 1 expansion Hellfire. The Monk is diablo 1 use staves, and could hit multiple enemies in melee.

Best game (if played with your friends) that was ever made, 6 years of memories and experiences worth their weight in gold.

But that is in the past and the current WoW is a sinking ship where PvE is turning into a joke and PvP is streamlined to the point that you can't do either PvE/PvP without investing your soul into it or you'll be laughed and/or raped by everyone in the respective area of interest.

WoW was at it's best when something funny and amazing lied behind every new door and hill... with flying mounts and daily quests that has pretty much ended.

Reusing old areas in Wow is a cheap trick and letting any class be whatever they want is even cheaper: It's a stupid godamn ploy to even out Arena due to racial talents but in the end they will have to remove racial talents in arena because they're godamn inbalanced (humans racial is beyond best etc.)
It's like the Engineerboots, from the first day I said that was the idiocy and that they'd remove them and they did.
But here is why I don't play anymore: They make so much godamn money and have so many people working on that game yet they can never even begin to balance out the game or atleast not fuck it up every third months by making one class into God. It's a ploy to keep people playing, a cycle of underpowered/overpowered.

It also looks allot like a blademaster from Warcraft 3. Only human.
