Ultimate Knights Windom XP

This indie game is more like a Gundam clone, but the game is somewhat excellent. You play as a mecha of your choice and destroy enemies before they destroy you. It takes dexterity and timing to get things right. Windom XP includes 17 kinds of mechas, 5 maps, and lets you customize your mecha if you want to win better in Arcade mode. There is also a great feature that lets you pick a pilot, best part is that you can CREATE pilots, but you'll need some tools such as Total Recorder to record directly from a computer without worrying about a microphone in front of the speaker, and Audicity to convert audio files into oggs. The pilots need ogg to speak. Plus a single 200 x 150 px png, gif, or jpg format.

The List of game modes include:

Arcade Mode - Complete 5 levels depending on your difficulty. Some may include Cost Battle and Deathmatch.

Survival Mode - Fight till you drop!

Practice Mode - New in the game? Use practice mode to train against the dummy.

Team Battle Mode - You'll automatically join the blue team brigade to destroy the red team.

Blitz Tactics Mode - Experience the war. Destroy the enemy mother ship its minions to win the game. Take down the captain too.

Robot Garage - Customize your mecha.

Local Battle Mode - Set up who you pilot and who to fight, make the rules, find a map, and enjoy your fun.

Online Battle Mode - Take on dozens of players around the world!

Score Ranking - Check out your high scores. You think you can beat your current score?

I was playing it on XP with an old computer, a Dell dimension 4200.

I have this little tablet Pc laptop that runs vista. Maybe i'll give it another shot.
