Death Metal logo for my band

So I play in a semi-cool death metal band and we've been active for quite a time and at the moment we are writing our debut album. So anyways, new songs equal development which equals different lyrical themes whatever etc. Anyways new theme is planned to be water shit, like atlantis and crap, deep underwater fuck monster and so on.

(although I've only done 1 out of 3 words, it's only a concept geez.)

Color theme like/dislike? Overall inability to read it good/shit?

Edit: Okay you fixed it.

I like it, but it actually took me a second to figure out what it said. Maybe you could make it a little more readable?

I like the colours, but I think the background is too similar to the middle of the word (vertically) and it kind of blurs together. Other than that it looks pretty swell.

Diggin the colors and the texture but it's basically unreadable. Maybe space out the letters more or change the background?

Since when do logos have to be readable? Our current one is not that readable anyways

But yea, this one is just a WIP anyways.

And for some reason i really think that every so often in your songs you have a 2 second interlude with a snippet of news, if you get what i mean. I'm too tired to give a better Description. Its like Perfect for it, if you understand my speaking in riddles
