The black rubber around the car door shape is stuck to the leather on the actual car door because of a glue accident. the rubber is splitting in half if i pull the door open. You guys wanna suggest anything to unstick this shit or should i just pull the rubber off and leave it stuck to the door?

The guy i bought the car from had kids, and they pulled on a leather strap that was on the doors in the back, so while gluing it back in place, a stripe of glue snuck by my sight and slid all the way down the door
