i was up 17:0 in Arena as a soldier until i suffered my first death against two pyros.

I'm gonna have to see if this new rocket is a one-hit kill against snipers as to watch out once the update goes online.
'cause I'm really afraid that this is gonna ruin arena well with all the soldier bastards rocketjumping and then spamming over the traincars.

It seems like every new weapon has radically changed gameplay in its own way. Valve has been pretty good with that.


Apart from the razorback. That thing is stupid.

marlin's right when i see a razorback sniper i just go find someone else to stab, i could headshot the sniper but i always just like stabbing people. It's too much trouble to break the razorback then battle it out with the sniper, especially if he's good with the kukri

I don't use the ambassador anymore.
sure, crouching and headshotting a razorback sniper is easy, but with the revolver i can shoot him dead before he zooms out, and the aim and damage is generally better when i'm trying to kill someone while escaping.

I've realized recently that the revolver kills a dispenser in 6 shots whereas the amby takes 7. It has made harassing engineers in 2fort all the more easier.

Tis update is really really good. Glad that scotres adds more dfensvie capability to the demo to as to counter the melle weapons in the other slots.

I like it. I'm definitely getting the Soldier stuff first because the direct hit really looks like it could be useful to me. Appeals to my more latent sniping instincts.
