So I've been playing the demo, and have gotten a little bit of time to play the actual game.
Its pretty neato.
The AI Director is greatly improved
The new campaigns are awesome
The new Infected are cool
The new characters are funny
The new weapons are cool
Overall, it's a pretty good sequel.

From what I have played in the demo, I love the new items like the defibrilator and the adrenaline shots. They add a lot more of strategy on finding out who should be carrying what. The melee weapons are a lot of fun too.

I might not bother getting it until a method for uncensoring it comes out. I'll feel like I'm getting jipped otherwise.

The AI Director seems abscent just as in the first game
The new campaigns are played out in daylight and devoided of feeling
The new Infected are cool
The new characters are shitty as fuck unless you enjoy rednecks and whiny black women, Uncle Phil and White man are cool though
The new weapons feel abit plastic but the magnum is awesome.
Overall, it's a pretty good expansionpack, which it isn't because it's a new game and charged as such which is overprice.

theres stuff everywhere in this, i'm accustomed to not finding anything for a while but theres stuff every few feet but they're good about mixing it up i was the first in my game to find a chainsaw which was awesome and the new guns are awesome but i've already used most of 'em also the finales are so much cooler, having a rock concert, fueling up a racecar, kickass

So far I've beaten Dead Center and Dark Carnival.  Later tonight, possibly, I'll try to finish the third campaign.
My thoughts are that the game is awesome and totally awesome but goddamn is it way more fucking frustrating than the last game.

Also Harmony you don't know what you're talking about some of the campaigns take place during the night.

I was at the last second of the heavy rain one and RIGHT before i jumped on the boat, i got stuck in a corner and a tank killed me. 1 hour, no achievement. FUCK!

yeah once the novelty of the spitter wears off, and it does so fast, she's not really interesting anymore.

played through all the campaigns once- all on easy, except the one in the mall, which I somehow ended up playing on advanced.
the levels are huge, but I seem to never get lost- valve's design philosophy is evident.

if no one else is going to say it, I will: the racecar finale is stupid. why are there gas cans filled with 3 fluid ounces of gas each, scattered around in pairs around that area? it makes no logical sense, even compared with the rest of the game, and from a gameplay standpoint it's a fucking fetch quest. the tank spawns are sporadic and really bizarre, too. (are they based on the amount of cans you've poured in?) the whole thing feels mishandled.
the mall also has one point where the alarm switch is right next to the fucking horde spawn that it disables. if that's by design, it's fucking monstrous.

those are my only real complaints, though.
I don't know why nobody likes ellis. he's adorable.

oh and what's with the oxygen tanks? is it just me or do they take like 5 bullets and give off ridiculously massive explosive decompressions now?

I don't think we'll be getting the achievement for beating the game on expert with realism on, any time soon.


Also, slurpee, your right that race car one was stupid, but fun nonetheless....Frustrating as FUCK though when two people on your team are I'm a edgy teen.

Played the shit out of it the moment it was released.
Most fun i have ever had playing a game.

I just wish they had a reference to the original survivors like everyone thought valve was hinting at.

i just dont wanna pay for a game so similair, played the new one at my friends and it doesnt thrill me enough to pay for it.
