I hate how hard it is to find a good wallpaper without stretching.

I usually just crop and shrink images myself in photoshop. Just make sure you have wallpapers of an equal or higher resolution than your screen width and height if you do that, otherwise it's gonna look shit.

Also if it has to do with site layouts yeah a lot of people use some kind of wide screen now I guess. I use Cabin Fever because it works well on my resolution.
