Monthly Writing

So I had this idea. How about we make small writing exercises every month? For example, the OP has the beginning of a story, and then people continue it. Or "mini contests" in which people post small texts about a certain subject. Or to make it simpler, perhaps finding words of a certain semantic field? There are endless possibilities. What do you think?

Does anyone have any ideas for what we could do for January? We'd like to come up with something that Clock writers think would help them improve their technique in a unique way.
