Yeah, so this game looks incredible. I loved the original and this one looks way better. IGN agrees too, they gave it a 9.6. Here's their review:

So is anybody else pretty pumped for this? I wasn't planning to buy it on Tuesday, but now I have to.

DWARFINATORclock

I pre ordered the collectors edition and I'm starting a new character in Mass Effect 1 now to make all the right decisions so my Mass Effect 2 experience will be the best.

SwirlberryClock

Yeah. It's great how it does a cross-over like that between your ME1 and ME2 character.

Also, PC owners of the game, you can download save files from people that have already completed the game if you don't wish to start new on ME2.

Why the fuck would you download someone else's save file?

So you don't have to replay the entire game just to set yourself up to play another game?

If you start a new game without importing a save file from ME you will still get to make the big choices like if Wrex is still alive etc. Do your research noob. I think they actually said that in the link in the OP...

Sombra

Reading that article, I'm kind of frustrated that they got rid of the planet exploring. I found that to be lots of fun.

I like the part of the article that says this: "If you're not importing a character, BioWare simply makes some of the decisions from Mass Effect 1 for you."

Some yeah, not the major ones like Wrex/Ashley/Kaidan dying. If you import someone else's save it would be the same as having the game decide only you won't get to choose who lived etc.

PowerGloveClock

ew dwarf why would you use the term "noob"
Quote from: FLOUNDERINYOBUTT;1837615I think Kodiak is the only person on  this entire website who dislikes Slurpee. I still dont understand how  thats possible. He\'s so loveable and funny. Every guy wants to be his  friend and every girl wants to date him. Understandably Slurpee is not a  very happy person.

Because I'm talking to Sombra.

If you look at the page I liked to they give many different save games with male paragon/ renegade, female paragon/ renegade, and then go into description on who they saved, who they killed, and other important choices they made. That was the entire reason I thought it would be worth linking to.

I'm not going to look at that page because using other people's save games is ~dumb~

NintendrCkolc

I have 3 level 60s ready to go.

lvl 60 Biotic Paragon
lvl 60 Vanguard (neutral choices/basically what I'd really do in that situation)
lvl 60 Infiltrator Renegade

I played ME1 so damn much... I've been dying for this sequel for the past 2 years. I cant fucking wait!!!!

Also why the fuck did IGN have to spoil punching the reporter in the face pt2.. I didnt need to know that she was gonna come back... I've been trying to skip out on any and every spoiler I possibly can and then I watch that review and bam, a spoiler. Albeit a very minor one...

dwarf makes mass effect look like star trek

Mass effect > star trek

Pretty much anything science fiction including science fiction anime, science fiction video games, and those lame ass movies on sci fi > Star trek

ProqagandaClock

Mass Effect = Win
Star Trek = Nice

I would not try to compare them since I have not experienced Star Trek to the point of obtaining a full fledged view of their universe, but I have with Mass Effect and I loved it.

Waiting for this game of the year to come out and rape the competition.

miracle fruit

your missing the point i wasnt even comparing the 2 you idiots!

Yah im looking forward to this, not as much as i am looking forward to Bioshock 2 though. Anywhoooooo do only the actions from Mass Effect affect ME2 or also your level and gear? Still haven't played the 2 dlc's for ME btw, going to do that before i get ME2.. all this after Bioshock 2 though:D

Eh, dont even bother with the newest dlc (cant remember what its called but its awful. Cerberus station maybe? iunno its something like that..)

Bring Down the Sky isnt too terrible but its also nothing special.. I'd check it out if you REALLY need some new content... Otherwise just wait for ME2.
