Super Street Fighter 4

I didn't see a thread so I'm making one

This is going to be a kickass upgrade

-Every character gets a second ultra (you can view most of them on this website)
-Every character has at least 2 alternate costumes
-New characters (Dee Jay, Cody, Guy, Adon, T. Hawk, new character Juri, and 4 more unconfirmed but assumed to be Ibuki, Dudley, and Makoto and a new character)
-SF2 style minigames in arcade mode, such as wrecking a car (link)
-New online modes that look kind of stupid
-Rebalanced characters (finally sagat isn't going to be a broken piece of shit)
-new arenas, but who gives a shit about that?
-new plot for the Arcade mode, hopefully with a new final boss (rumors of Shadow being the final boss are probably not true but would be cool)

I can't wait, I'm going to be getting this the day it comes out.

Dudley is pretty much official already

Capcom just sent a boxing glove with a single rose in it to a bunch of game sites a few days ago so yeah, confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt. Also, there are official game shots with kunai knives so Ibuki is pretty much confirmed too.


If anybody wants to see some funny shit, look at Seth's 2nd Ultra. It's fucking ridiculous. But then again Seth in general is ridiculous.

It's the most balanced and anti-buttonmashing fighting game currently available on the market, so unless you just don't like fighting games at all I don't know how you could feel this way. The characters are a bit over the top, and I suppose it's less GRIMDARK but those are more reasons to LIKE it than hate it.

But hey, opinions aren't facts. Great to see this forums SMods using their powers to troll AGAIN

Not to piss on it if you do, I'm honestly curious.

I'm excited about Dudley and Makoto because they're great characters. Other than that the only one I care about at all is T. Hawk, and for him just because he's hilariously offensive.

Capcom really did listen to their fans on this one though, and they pretty much added the characters that have the most fans and are the most wanted. I doubt many people on this site are going to care much about Guy or Cody, but I'm sure there are some Final Fight fans out there shitting themselves

TBH I never really liked Ibuki. But I'm really glad to see Makoto, I played as her in SF3 before SF4 came out.

EDIT: As an actual martial artist (2nd degree Tae Kwon Do black belt) I appreciate how they made the black belts of the characters who wear them white on the edges. That sort of wear on the belt shows that somebody actually practices a lot and shows experience. It's a little detail but I like it a lot.

i remember I used to be on Tae Kwon Do when i was a kid, but I never passed from the white belt.

Well it only takes from 10-30 classes to get the next belt, depending on the school, so you must have given up really quickly. Or your school was doing it wrong.

Actually, a big reason I like Makoto is because she actually has pretty good form and she doesn't do too much impossible shit.
