It does, but guess what, he actually said he didn't rip off the simpsons because he started this book in 1976, but at the time, even for king, it was too daunting a story a write and filed the manuscript away for thirty years.

I hate paper on hard covers too. The artwork is really nice though.

I'd like to think that both King and the Simpsons' writers were not the first ever people to wonder about domed cities. One same concept can make for two entirely different stories.
