AC Slater

Yeah this definitely holds my interest now. And sonic sound effects?

Topcatyo

Every time I watch the new trailer I get all giddy again.

VCRClock

Man, I don't know. The trailer makes me think this is going to be some kind of nerdsploitation movie... nevertheless, I'm tempted to see it. Don't know if I should try to read the comic first, though.
<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew

You should

It's kind of freaking me out how good the casting is.

Kieran Culkin appears to actually be Wallace Wells

Michael Cera has nailed Scott's stupid grin

Chris Evans looks like Bryan Lee O'Malley drew him when he's talking about the league of evil exes

Also, it's difficult to not get excited about something when Invaders Must Die by The Prodigy plays over it.

Also "It's on like Donkey Kong" is a fantastic tagline

Also this is pretty good too:

I was really worried about who they would cast as Wallace before since he's one of my favorite characters in the series, but yeah, it looks like the guy they got might actually do a good job.
I was shocked but not at all surprised when I found out it was a Culkin.

She kinda is.

Slurpee

better paced, too.

are international trailers typically cut by more competent people than american trailers?

True

I generally think they put in as little of the plot as possible and just get right to the action so we will spend money on a movie with explosions and punching.

I mean, observe 1:40 in this trailer:
[u2]OX8enKJ197I[/u2]

They can't even let a dude finish a sentence, they cut him off right after he barely gets to the letter M in "time" because they wanted to show Michael Cera bust through a wall and some crazy awesome face-punching.

RobClock

for the first time in years i have shit my pants in anticipation.

TequilaClock

Well hello Toronto.

To be fair I am basing the setting of my big video game project on my hometown as well.

BinaryClock

Welp I'm excited. I'm going to this thing because 1) I've got nothing better to do 2) I wanna play the game and nobody I know has a PS3 3) maybe I'll get some other comicy things I dunno 4) any chance for free movie tickets is nice (damn things are expensive).

It'd be cool to meet any other clocks in the SF area!
BinaryClock, if you wanna play uno type !unohelp to see how to

Most likely the same guy cut both

oh hey
I might be there
I don't know
I have a situation
but maybe

statement for the record that it would be weird to meet you or any clock irl

BinaryClock

"I have a situation" is about as vague as "there were circumstances" and it doesn't sound any more positive.

Slurpee

I was being intentionally vague =)

MentosClock

"An epic of epic epicness."
This movie has the absolute worst tagline that I have ever heard. I have no idea how many people it takes to make a tagline that awful, but they all deserve some kind of reward for that.

BinaryClock

Just read the book and I am so mad now that Joseph is not in the movie. I love how his relationship was quietly built throughout the course of the entire series. I love his character, I love how he interacts with the other characters and him + stills made me smile and giggle more than pretty much anything

Basically I'm freaking out a little. Freaking out a lot

PowerGloveClock

trailer 2 has the song "gum" by cornelius in it. i'm hoping they use a few of his songs in the movie
Quote from: FLOUNDERINYOBUTT;1837615I think Kodiak is the only person on  this entire website who dislikes Slurpee. I still dont understand how  thats possible. He\'s so loveable and funny. Every guy wants to be his  friend and every girl wants to date him. Understandably Slurpee is not a  very happy person.

WiiClock

Won a ticket to an advance screening on twitter. Never read the comic, but I'll let you guys know how much this movie sucks on Monday.
HELLO EVERYONE.
