Delete the fuck out of this once it's answered. Sorry to post in general, after a quick reply and then this burning.

Buttons, trying to get the first to stop on the 2nd frame when clicked.

b1.onRollOver = over ;
b1.onRollOut = out ;
b1.onRelease = gotoAndStop(2);
b1.btntext.txt.text = "Home";

b2.onRollOver = over ;
b2.onRollOut = out ;
b2.btntext.txt.text = "Products";

b3.onRollOver = over ;
b3.onRollOut = out ;
b3.btntext.txt.text = "Photoshoot";

b4.onRollOver = over ;
b4.onRollOut = out ;
b4.btntext.txt.text = "Contact";

function Over() {
this.gotoAndPlay(2)
}
function out() {
this.gotoAndPlay(7)
}

Tried a zillion different ways, Google's useless and I know it's something really simple. I even tried throwing a button over the top of the menu graphics, but that just stoped everything working. :|

I'm not really positive what you're asking but did you try putting either _root. or this. before the gotoAndStop to see if that magically fixes it?

EDIT: If you clicked the button, wouldn't your mouse still be "over" it, making the over code fire, negating the release code?
Quote from: MafiaMettaurWhat the hell is with that shit you posted? You know what, I'm joining the Locks, just to stop stuff like you!
Quote from: polyhedronclockYou're a fucking clock, what else do you have?
To be fair, you don't have anything. Clocks are just machines that tick.

I don't think it should be gotoAnd at all, I just want it so when you click the button it takes you to the second frame. _root does nothing and adding this. makes it jump straight to the 2nd frame.
