I know you guys are all psyched for Goldeneye and GT5 and Portal 2 and stuff, and I am too but am I the only one here who's incredibly excited for a new Golden Sun game?

I really would but I need to play the first two as well. I want to like it.

Surprisingly I'm more excited for Donkey Kong Country and Metroid Other M as opposed too Zelda.

I am actually more excited about DKCR and Kid Icarus Uprising. I had been anticipating Project Sora for a long time, and being that what turned out was like getting a pie in the face. A delicious chocolate mousse pie.

Also, I had dreamed of a new entry of the Donkey Kong Country series for the Wii, and exactly that happened. I have faith of Retro Studios doing a great job, and there are rumors of David Wise being the music composer. He left Rareware in 2009 to be a freelancer after all.

You could probably just play the first one to get a general idea. The 2nd one was disappointing, at least to me anyway.

I'm excited for Zelda in that I've never played a Zelda that I didn't enjoy to the end. It's not really a series that wows me but it's always decent.

Other M and DK could be really amazing, but they could also be extremely disappointing.

DKCR best of E3 for me.

DKC is one of the series I keep coming back to play year after year, so there's no way I can't be excited to play something new in the series for once. Hopefully it's just as awesome.

Portal 2 looks cool too. Kinect looks fun. Castlevania, Limbo, and Hydro Thunder for XBLA look good, although I'm disappointed that more XBLA titles weren't shown off. Fallout New Vegas was a must-buy when it was announced months ago. Marvel vs Capcom 3 looks amazing.

I never thought I'd say it, but Nintendo seemed to have had the best showing for new announcements this year. The non-Kinect part of Microsoft's show was all titles we already knew about, although I'm generally more interested in those titles than Nintendo's (except DKCR). Zelda still looks exactly the same despite the supposed Impressionist inspiration ... doesn't matter, I haven't liked a Zelda game since 4 swords anyway.

Not sure about how 'must have' the 3DS will be, especially with PS3 getting 3D soon and 360 following close behind, but at least it's got a good batch of games for it. I think I've got enough handhelds I barely play, personally. I'm more interested in setting one of my existing ones up for SNES/Genesis/NeoGeo emulation. That being said, I know I'm no longer the target market for 3DS and the kids will love it.

Sony had.... a release date for Gran Turismo, finally. That was pretty surprising.

Edit: only saw screenshots for kirby epic yarn before, now seen trailer. that looks badass also.

If you're not a fan of realistic driving simulators with pretty cars and pretty tracks then dont bother.

But I really enjoy the Dead Space 2 trailers aswell as the Starwars MMO trailers. I mean sure it makes it look like any other MMO but what do you expect... deep down it is.

I think it may be safe to say it might not ever happen. It's cheaper to make LFD and Portal expansions/sequels, and they'll make just as much money.

What?  No, I have no idea when the engineer update is, I mean that the PS3 version of TF2 will update whenever the PC version does.
