Anyway, I guess I don't have much to say about it, just wanted to let everyone know I was on this sweet-ass bandwagon.

I hope they don't put in any effort to their quests or writing, either. Nothing annoys me more than when a game forces me to stop pretending I'm doing whatever I want. Or do it like Fallout New Vegas where you don't have to choose a side with the factions until you decide to beat the game, and then the faction you choose helps determine the ending. And then you can reload an older save and try out the other endings. I'd be cool with that too.

I just watched the trailer again. This has probably been the most giddy I've been about a game coming out.

Creative director on The Elder Srolls V, Todd Howard, wants to bring Morrowindââ,¬â,,¢s ââ,¬Å"wonder of discoveryââ,¬Â to Skyrim. He admits that Oblivion lacked some of the imagination of its predecessor, but wants to ensure that the world of Skyrim ââ,¬Å"has its own unique culture.ââ,¬Â

Speaking to OXM about the world of Skyrim, Howard said ââ,¬Å"it should feel alien, kind of ââ,¬â,,¢stranger in a strange landââ,¬â,,¢ ââ,¬â€œ with familiar looking elements only rooting you early in the game.ââ,¬Â Howard likens the tone of Morrowind to that of being ââ,¬Å"an outsider.ââ,¬Â

ââ,¬Å"With Oblivion, weââ,¬â,,¢re dealing with the capital province, and we wanted to get back to the more classic Arena and Daggerfall feel of a fantasy world that felt more refined and welcoming, a place that you instantly understood. But in that, we sacrificed some of what made Morrowind special: the wonder of discovery.

At best buy the infamous 2 hero edition was 80$, which didn't bother me since it came with a wearable messenger bag.

I'd assume he's supposed to, a lot of Morrowind seems to be based on Middle Eastern culture and architecture, just like Cyrodiil is inspired by European culture.

Edit: Most of the provinces in The Elder Scrolls are based on real world cultures and locations. Skyrim = Scandinavia, Cyrodiil = Western Europe, Morrowind = Middle East/Asia, Akavir= Japan

Or you could just get it on PC and plug your 360 controller into your computer (yes, it works) and remap the keys so it's exactly the same controls
