Eh, I'm still in the fence regarding this. Mubarak was a dictator and the people are wary of him, but I don't know if this potential new government would be better or worse for the people, and the US.

Though, there are a couple of factors that won't make Egypt like say, another Iran, but I'm still holding my breath.

There are reasons that the news is in the "How does it affect you" format. It engages the self-interested viewer to keep watching and it doesn't anger the watcher by pointing out that the situation is in its core an issue of the Egyptian people's self-determination and free will, something we American's have so much of because we suppress others' like the Egyptians.

This is an Egyptian issue, and we are the antagonist. People don't like that.
