How would I do something as in someone landing super fast into the grass, sliding, grass being ripped up and piled upon the further he slides, while leaving bare dirt behind?

Tween the character sliding on the grass, use a mask on the "dirt" patch and have it revealed as he slides (i'm not goign to explain how to do a mask you'll have to look that up yourself) and have a moveclip of frame by frame grass flying under the character.

Wait, how would I make the mounds of dirt pile of ahead of him as he slides?
edit: would i just do a fbf of blobs of dirt as he slides?
