Question about Eagle Talons

[BluezombieClock]

I'm thinking of getting another car soon. My 500$ tercel is starting to crap up after 8 months.

I've been looking at a nice 1990 Eagle Talon (manual, base 2L engine ESi model), no AWD nor turbo. The guy just put in a new clutch, transmission and alternator.

Cosmetically, I love it. I still have to go try it out, but if somebody knows by experience: are parts expensive for this car?

I had a bmw 535i before, and part of the reason i got rid of it is that parts were excessively expensive. I'm hoping the Talon could become a daily driver for me, with parts not breaking every month and needing expensive repairs

I assume you are all pro mechanics

[WiiClock]

you probably shouldn't buy a car that is older than you
