also that long first-person shot was horrendous, good lord.

who is this movie made for? like I understand it's supposed to be a big summer blockbuster franchise and they didn't want to do 4 without sam raimi, but who without alzheimer's is scrambling to see the fucking spider-man origin story again?

At least the ages of the aunt and uncle make more sense now. In the other movie they were in their late 70s. How the hell you have a teenage nephew if if you're 78 yrs old?

Also, Campbell Scott looks old as fuck now. Ain't seen him in a movie since 'Singles'

looks like a pretty nifty rendition of spider-man in my opinion

i wasnt expecting/wanting to see another raimi style movie anyway (not that raimis first two movies werent great)

and im loving the webshooters

I MIGHT go see it, but only because my friend works at the theatre so we can go see stuff for free. And even then, i probably wont.
