also I use new windows instead of tabs so I can alt-tab to go through them

you can browse through tabs with shift-command-closed bracket (or open bracket to reverse direction)

or control-tab/shift-control-tab on pc I think

I use tabs and windows because I'm fabulous and make the most of my resources

I open tabs for all the new threads I haven't read. It's actually more efficient because I only have to look at the 'whats new' page once and then close it.
