Damn, that Swivel is hands down the best conversion program I have ever used. Thanks for the recommendation.

Would you happen to remember what that program is called?

Thanks Fax, I'll give it a try.

Flash & Flash Accessories / Is flash dead? What now?

So... hey. I've recently been flung back into the animation ring against my will and have some questions for those of you who have stayed in the loop over the past many years.

I know that Apple had deemed flash unworthy a while back therefore flash does not work on iPads. And considering the rampant popularity of the device it makes sense that anything that doesn't work on it is going to die a horrible and painful death.

If people are not using flash anymore, what are they using to make animated logos, overly-interactive websites, and animated porn? I feel like the boat left without me and no one told me there was a boat to get on!

Pokemon Stadium / Need some quick help

The expression is intended. He has a sarcastic and yet lethargic personality, so honestly that probably would be how he would look when faced with a dragon.

Unfortunately when I flattened the layers so I could print, I accidentally saved over the original. All I am left with is a solid image so I don't have much room for tweaking anymore.

If anyone wants to give touching it up a go I would appreciate it. Particularly the sweat beads. My flight yesterday got canceled so I wont be printing it till later tonight.

I think I nailed it. I scrapped the crappy drawn head and went with the original photo. Two hours and seven new layers later, it came out pretty damn good.

NEW PNG pic

What do you think? Any additional suggestions?

Hey guys, sorry to just drop in with a request but I need some help. I am doing this funny poster for my brother and am at a bit of a loss. I cobbled together various artwork to make this epic metal dragon fighting scene with my brothers face on the warrior, however I can't quite make it fit with the body. The size is good, but I just can't match the style of the artist that did the body.

If anyone can take a whack at it and see if they can touch it up to fit, I will totally owe you one. There is also a photo of his face rather then my drawing on a hidden layer. If you can make that work and move his eyes to face the dragon, that would be fine too. Whatever looks better.

Thanks.

Ram is simple enough, unless you have any specific advice.
What would you suggest for a video card in the $100 range?
I don't know much about processors. How does mine stack up with today's world?

Yeah it has to be mail order, he lives in another state. I think I'll go with Gamestop unless anyone has a better suggestion.

My brother wants me to pre-order MW2(xbox) for his birthday and I've never bought a game online before. Anyone know a good site to pre-order games that don't overcharge and ship the game as quickly as possible?

Don't do it. MMOs have the worst time spent to gratification ratio in the world, just behind watching paint dry.

Gaming & Technology / Turtle Beach X4 Headset
August 07, 2009, 04:27:40 PM
I'm looking for anyone who owns a pair of X4s and uses them with their 360, cause I have a question. I bought a pair a few weeks ago and had to return them because of too much static. Now, this isn't static caused by it being improperly set-up. The otherwise near inaudible static is boosted three fold when I plug in the cord that runs from the headset to the xbox controller.

So for everyone with this headset, please do this for me. Hop into the xbox dashboard and put on your beaches without the xbox cord plugged in. As you know, you will hear slight static. Now plug the controller cord into the headset and tell me if the static boosts at all. If not, then plug the other end into the controller and listen for a boost.

Let me know what you find, and thanks.

The more I watch this the more I realize how brutally horrific mouse traps are.

Nah I am sure I can get it out of there. I would have to drill a tiny hole in the top for the LED toggle, but other then that the cases are the same. But hopefully I will like the new case and not have to do that at all.
#18
Do you think that is because of the case that they are uneven, or the light board inside? If it bothers me I may just swap back to the original black case but keep the lighted buttons of course.
#19
Etch did you get the light up buttons too? I read a review that the controller doesn't fully close and there is a slight gap between the two plates.

Also, I misspoke. Did you get the clearish smoke case or the rubbery smooth black case? I want the black one and am curious to know how it feels after a few hours of play time.

Oh and I know the kit is really easy to install, but since I am having someone install the much more difficult blue LED ring, I might as well just have him do the case too.

Damnit Sinister I already said trying to solder those tiny little diodes myself is out of my league you cheeky bastard. But thanks. :)
