Alright, finally sat down and got this taken care of. A lot of people participated this year, and there were several amazing entries this time around. So on to the winners!

Best Overall: Snake's SnakeClock and the Snow Factory, for taking the concept of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and turning it on its clock, infusing it with a lot more originality and humor than Hollywood does when it parodies it constantly.
Best Plot: Zeppelin's Winter, for a disturbing story about a prisoner and how he got there that's so well told I actually went to Google to check to see if it was plagiarized.
Most Original: Anime's Circle of Penises, for bringing the fine art of penis comparison and analysis to a wider audience.
Best Style: Snake's SnakeClock and the Snow Factory, for writing his story in a way that fits with the structure of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, while changing the details and plot so it stays interesting and fresh.
Best Use of Theme: Sombra's The True Meaning, for helping a lonely, piss-drunk clock figure out what the True Meaning of Clockmas is.
Lollermask: Chalk and Ivysaur's joint project No Snow, first of all for sending it in as a song, and secondly for being a pretty funny song about there not being any snow in Australia. I had to check Google for this one also. You guys should make that a winter anthem for your country :P.
Best Poetry: Tremclad's Untitled Winter-themed Poem #28, for his colorful poem describing nature during winter.

Congratulations to the winners and commiserations to the losers. Many of you that didn't win had people who voted for you, just not enough or too spread out to win an award. Best of luck to you on the next contest!

I also highly encourage everyone who wrote a story to go over to the Literature section and submit their story, so people can continue to find and enjoy their stories long after this thread has dropped off the front page.

Entries can be read here, except for Snake's, which is here.

I need someone to make a participation award. Previous Clockmas awards were and .

Also, any ideas for themes for the next writing contest?

Shame Coal's didn't win any categories.  I almost threw up reading it.
Oh well.  Congrats to the winners :D

TequilaClock

Maybe I would make an award but I am out of ideas as snowflake and crwon have been used...

ZeppelinClock

YAY! I WON I WON I WON!

Glad to see my story was appreciated. I feel that SnakeClock really deserves the awards, the story was cool. I´ll head over to the Literature section tomorrow or sometime the following week.

Now I´m off to bed.

Oh fantastic, congrats everybody! I'm only a little dismayed that the unfortunate one about the advent calendar didn't win anything. that was one of my favorites.

That's great, but it's a winter writing contest, not a Christmas contest, so it's a tad irrelevant.
