Are you so certain that abortion was blocked in favor of the right? The left would benefit from people not realizing all the scientific atrocities of abortion. If destroying a fetus incapable of thought and devoid of functioning human organs is murder, than so is destroying a tumor or a plant. Still though, I wouldn't go for abortion unless it's a rape baby, it'll have some horrible disease/condition, or the mother will die.

You're wrong. Flat out, wrong. I don't even know what to say. Most women who get them because they were raped or can't afford it feel absolutely horrible about having to get one. Then the ones where the baby is threatening the mother's life are women who are forced into it while they actually want the child. Imagine how they feel, having to have their child killed to save their own life.

Then there's people like me, who support the fact that they're allowed to do it so long as they get it done before the fetus gets a heartbeat. I understand that it's not a clean thing. You're right, it's gruesome as hell. However, I'd rather have the mother abort the baby than have it grow up to end up in prison, or be found in a dumpster on its first birthday.

I dislike abortion, and it's not due, at least directly, to my religious beliefs.

Abortion has become a convenience for so many people. Especially the pregnant teen population, who needs to learn to control their sexual appetites and desire for popularity, or just deal with it controlling them.

I don't see what the problem is, an abortion is to deal with an unplanned parenthood, give the child up for adoption, it's possible it could have an absolutely horrible life, it could end up as just a burden on society. If the parent keeps the child, it ends up as a burden on their lives, and will probably have a horrible life. In the end of it, if you don't know how to use birth control, you shouldn't be a parent.

It's completely ridiculous to call a lump of cells with no heart and no brain, alive, let alone call it a baby. It's only a lump of cells, it's a growth, it is not sentient, it is not a human being in the strictest sense of the term, it is human flesh, not discounting that, but flesh is nothing. If there is no mind, then it is not a person.

I really cannot see why there is a moral issue about this.
