I think the idea is that when you're procrastinating, you'll make yourself a cup of tea to procrastinate (with the intention of getting to work), then instead of working, you wind up doing something else and drinking all your tea, so you make yourself another cup, and so on...

Well the examples he listed won't apply to everyone. The point is that procrastination is about shifting your priorities. I could procrastinate by doing something much more strenuous than what I should be doing - the point is that you do everything else EXCEPT for what you ought to, whether it be silly pointless tasks or more elaborate distractions.
