Just hit 5714.

I'm really far behind, but it's not so bad since i've got a long weekend coming up. Hopefully I'll get most of my work done then.

Edit: Just passed 6500.

7121 tonight.  Wish I had gotten more done in the amount of time I worked on it, but oh well.  Hopefully I'll catch up during the week.

Wind-up Clock

18,542 words. By my calculations, I'm a day ahead. the lead has already met the needed female character. I haven't fully worked out if it's going to be a relationship or if she keeps trying to kill him.

closing in on 10,000. One fifth of the way done, and i need to ruin my weekend to catch up.

My weekend's already ruined because the guy I was supposed to switch my Saturday shift with abruptly changed his mind and said he can't do it. Fucker.

Ah well, just means more time for me to get ahead.

24003. Hopefully I'll have a bit of a buffer, in case i hit the doldrums, or go camping.

And i just had the female lead dual-wield shotguns. Jeez.

shit i was meant to be writing a novel

how is this month already half over

what happened :(

Wind-up Clock

27,235 words. I seem to be the only one on tempo with a single story here.

Topcatyo

10,228 words so far.  I'm doing by best to catch up, so I'm devoting the next three hours to writing fast and furious.

Topcatyo

For a couple pages my character will be living a normal life instead of a crazy-ass superhero life, so writing about normal things might go a tad quicker.

Topcatyo

13,079 words.  I'm surprised how fast a couple pages of dialogue and whatnot adds words to a story.  Shame I got through it all so fast.

Anyway, I did some math, and, if I wanna make 50,000 words by the end of the month, I gotta write at least 3076.75 words each day.  Hopefully I'll get more than that many words done a couple days should I ever need to pick up some slack.

14,471. I just started getting together with this girl I know to have mini write-ins at coffeeshops and libraries almost every day so we can both get caught back up.

Topcatyo

Gah, I was going to work on my animation for National Portfolio Day today, but I had to take a nap.  I set my alarm to wake up at 4, and I woke up at 6:30.
I also didn't get much work on it yesterday.

The Spoiler

I think I'm at somewhere around 78000 (counting both books). So I'm about halfway done aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. At this rate I should be done this month, but not with a huge amount of spare time, because I'm going to be away for 5 days. I think I need 3666 words per day. That's less than half what I did for Megalith, and Thanksgiving break is coming up, so I should make it.

Although the book might run on longer than 50k words leading to beating the word count goal but not the book goal. All the better.
