Hopefully the police involved are disciplined, but I doubt it.  Hurray for the court system.

Having military/officer training myself I can only say that they did the correct thing in everything but the punches in his back which were totally uneccery.
But breaking down a person violanty and fast is part of preceedure in which you rather cause the suspect harm than your comrades.

My dad was going to be arrested for being Drunk and Disorderly because he was walking home from the pub and he'd injured his leg so he had a limp.

Also they breathalised him and they said he was over the limit, my dad went "So, you're gonna slam me in the cells because i'm over the limit, but i'm walking home? Feel free to take me then, but i'll take both you and your friend's Police ID numbers so i can have both your asses for harassment"

I want to know what he said to piss them of in the first place. I mean, what if he was like "Oy you fucking pigs asaddfgh" or something

There was no need to start rubbing his face into the floor, he was restrained - isn't it down to the justice system to issue out the punishment?

British police are pussies and bullies that spend their time harassing drunk people and teenage motorists then actually dealing with real criminals that are responsible for the crime increase. Because trying to deal with a gang of twelve black 14 year olds who are armed with knives and don't give a shit about stabbing anyone, would actually be a bit dangerous.
