That's why I suggested Waking Life. It uses the rotoscoping in a more creative way and has a more genuinely compelling... erm, "plot", if you could call it that. Think of it as the antithesis to Scanner Darkly.

I like them both, though.

Howls moving Castle
Well, it certainly was not the spiritual successor to spirited Away. It had a lot of what Spirited Away had - interesting ideas, incredible animation, great art design, however it lacked the general intrigue. The entire story I was waiting for something more interesting to happen, or to at least make the romance a little less two dimensional. Not only that, but what felt like side-stories intruded on the plot and became the main focus. Not a bad film by any means, but it was a dissapointment, nonetheless.

Cheerleader Massacre
It is exactly what it sounds like, and it is amazing. Terrible story, terrible acting, terrible effects - it's fucking hilarious, see it, they even throw in some soft core porn to desperately try to redeem the movie.
