I have to make a elucidation about the advantages and disadvantages of the internet.

can you guys think of things I can add on the advantages or disadvantages list.

Only disadvantages I can bring to mind are spending too much time on here rather than doing anything real and too much information out there for minors without supervision.

EDIT: Oh and copyrighted material being at hand, corporations loosing money and shit.. but who the fuck cares anyway.

Disadvantages:
-Less and less actual social contact
-Very child unfriendly
-So much things are being replaced by things online it's hard to do it elsewise now (for instance post offices and banks closing because everyone's e-banking and e-mailing). Once your internet connection dies, you're fucked.
-Many illegal things are made easier on it, filesharing etc.

Advantages
-Huge improvements in communications
-Businesses needn't even have buildings, can exist solely online
-Entirely new media-outlet unlike anything seen before
-Convenient
-Cheap (saves costs and TIME on trips to the post office, banks)

There are no disadvantages. The internet has opened up the entire world to free thinking and trade. There are only advantages to using the internet >:C

e: saying that it hurts the person is the persons fault I don't think it has to do with the internet being a disadvantage. that's like saying "a disadvantage of the sun is that if I stay out to long under it, I get sunburned" that's not a disadvantage of the sun. it's just a sun noob.

I guess a good advantage is its an open media of easily relayable information.

A disadvantage is any toss-pot can make up anything and it be considered fact.
