That's more socio-economic than ethnic. The fact that mostly minorities fill up these areas is the issue, and shows that we're still not as equal as people think.

I have one disagreement, slurpee, in merely just that ¥¥¥¥¥¥ was not invented to be derogatory, it merely comes from the portugese word negro, which came from the latin word niger, both simply meaning black.

The reason why is easy to see. The portugese were the first europeans to explore central and southern africa, and were the first europeans to initiate in the slave trade of Africans. I'm not saying it was never used as a pejorative back then, I'm just saying its use and origin was not solely pejorative.

I say we replace "nigger" with "jigaboo" again.
